Was ist neu
Ich baue Martia öffentlich. Hier steht jede neue Funktion und Änderung in der App.
September 2026
Settings now has “Contact support”: you write to a person from the Martia team right in the app, the reply lands in the same thread, and by email if you've left. It works with analytics switched off, too.
I answer questions about your money. When something doesn't work — a bank won't connect, transactions aren't arriving, a payment got stuck — you need a person. From today there is a path to one inside the app: Settings → Privacy & help → Contact support. You write as in a chat; someone from the team answers.
Lesen →AppTransactions, Accounts and Wealth have a new, calmer look — the same one you know from the site and the chat. Fewer decorations, more numbers you can read at a glance.
Until now the app and the site spoke two visual languages: chat and settings were already new, while the transaction list, accounts and wealth still wore the old colours and tilted cards. Now three more screens, on the phone and in the browser, look like the rest — a paper-coloured background, one colour for actions, green only where it talks about money.
Lesen →August 2026
After your account is deleted you get a confirmation email: the account is gone, banks are disconnected, the subscription is cancelled, and marketing emails stop.
Deleting an account cannot be undone, but until now it ended in silence. Now, when the deletion succeeds, we email your address with a confirmation of what happened — so you do not have to guess whether the banks, the subscription, and the data are actually gone.
Lesen →Getting startedSign-up, plan choice, payment, and bank connection now happen right inside the Martia app, in a new look — when you start in your browser, the separate website questionnaire is no longer part of sign-up.
Until now, sign-up started in a separate questionnaire on martia.ai, and you only reached the app after finishing it. Now, when you start in your browser, the whole path — the first questions, choosing a plan, paying, and connecting a bank — happens in one place: the Martia app, in a new look.
Lesen →CommunityThe community forum is live at community.martia.ai. Ask once and the answer stays — for you and for the next person with the same question.
Questions about Martia used to disappear into chat: someone asked about their bank, someone answered, and a week later nobody could find it. So I opened a community forum — a place where a thread stays put, can be searched, and still makes sense six months later.
Lesen →ChatYou can now rename a conversation: the conversation list has a menu with rename and delete, instead of a lone trash icon.
The conversation list only had a trash can on the active row — and nothing else. Now each conversation has a menu: rename it, or delete it. The new title saves immediately and stays on that conversation, including after a refresh.
Lesen →New featureYou can now create your own spending and income categories. Your category shows up everywhere the built-in ones do — in charts, in the transaction review, and when recategorizing.
We all spend money differently, and a universal category list doesn't know your life. That's why I added custom categories: you name them your way, and Martia treats them as seriously as the built-in ones.
Lesen →SettingsIn settings you can now pick the app language, your country, and your primary currency separately. Living in Belgium but speaking English? Each of the three is its own choice.
Until now Martia guessed your language from your country — and those are two different things. You can live in Poland and prefer the app in English, or live in Belgium and speak Dutch, French, or something else entirely. Settings now offer three separate choices: app language, country, and primary currency. Changing one never touches the others.
Lesen →New languageMartia now speaks Dutch. The whole app and the answers about your money work in an eighth language — and if you live in Belgium or the Netherlands, Martia greets you in Dutch from the start.
Talking about money works best in the language you think in. That's why Dutch is now Martia's eighth language. Screens, notifications, and the answers to your questions are available in Dutch — familiar whether you're in the Netherlands or in Flanders.
Lesen →Your first reportIn the questions before your report you can now answer with a category, not just a flow type. For a card payment I ask about the category directly — and if my proposal does not fit, you pick the right one from a searchable list. Incoming transfers also get a new answer: 'Repayment / collection from friends'.
We all have these transactions: a card payment at a place whose name says nothing. Until now I asked about things that could not be true — a card payment at a shop is neither a transfer to your own account nor a loan overpayment. Now, when the bank confirms it was a card payment, I ask about the one thing that is actually uncertain: the category.
Lesen →Your first reportBefore I show you your first report, I ask about the few transactions that could distort it the most — a loan overpayment, say, or a transfer to your own account. You answer each one separately, you see how much the report changed straight away, and you can put it off at any moment.
A freshly connected account has one quiet problem: until it is known what a 20 000 transfer actually was, the report shows it as spending — and the first number you see is untrue. So before letting you into the app, I ask a few questions about the transactions with the largest effect on the report.
Lesen →WealthThe retirement projection now shows exactly which assets it is not counting — and with one tap you decide whether a flat joins the projection as a sale or as rental income. Savings and deposits also arrived as a new account type.
Until now the retirement projection counted your state pension and the accounts from the Investments tab — and said nothing about the flat or car in your Wealth. Now everything it does not count is listed under "Left out of the projection", with its name and value. Nothing is added silently: you say how each asset becomes income.
Lesen →WealthWealth is now three tabs: Overview, Investments, and Retirement. You add investment accounts with their tax-wrapper limits, your flat gets valued from official indices, and the financial runway plus the retirement projection say plainly how many months you are covered for and whether your retirement income will cover your spending.
Wealth stopped being a list of balances. You see your financial runway in months, investment accounts with their annual-limit utilization, an indicative flat valuation from official indices, and a retirement projection that puts your projected monthly income next to your expected spending — along with the assumptions, which you can change.
Lesen →Bank connectionsWe improved the technical reconciliation of successful bank connections and reauthorizations.
Martia now distinguishes an initial bank authorization from a reconnection and keeps one consistent record across providers. This helps us explain discrepancies between the connection flow and provider statistics more accurately.
Lesen →PrivacyA new screen in Settings: when something breaks, you package a slice of your own data and send it to support yourself. No transaction content by default, and before it goes you see exactly what is inside — down to the raw data.
We are building Martia so that the database on its own is useless and support has no window into your transactions. The flip side is that when something breaks, nobody can look into your data to see what happened. So the path to help runs through you: you package the slice, you look at all of it, and you decide whether it leaves.
Lesen →Shared financesA new shared space for couples: link up with your partner and each of you chooses which bank accounts the other person sees. Everything else stays private, conversations with Martia are never shared, and either side can disconnect.
Shared finances should not mean handing over your whole account. In the new shared space you both keep your own Martia, and sharing works per account: you tick what is shared, and that is what the other person sees — labelled with whose account it is. Hidden and unticked accounts, balances, transactions, and your conversations with Martia remain yours alone.
Lesen →SpendingMerchant and tax refunds now reduce expenses, and uncertain cases can be reviewed or corrected.
Martia recognizes reliable refunds from unambiguous bank signals, keeps them out of income, and records them in the month when the money returned to your account. If the purchase or category cannot be chosen safely, the refund enters review with an explanation and correction controls.
Lesen →Bank connectionsAdding an account can now improve earlier transfer classifications and historical reports.
When you add a new account, Martia reviews retained history with a fuller picture of your finances without overwriting manual decisions.
Lesen →CategorizationMartia recognizes the same company across banks and can distinguish its payments by an exact amount or range.
Recurring payments to one company do not always mean the same thing. Martia groups name variants into one relationship, previews the rule before confirmation, and applies it to future transactions without silently changing history.
Lesen →AI AssistantYou can now ask about your money directly in ChatGPT or Claude. Martia answers there using only your transactions, access is read-only, and you set up and remove the connection yourself, whenever you like.
If you already talk to ChatGPT or Claude day to day, you can now add Martia to them and ask about your spending, balances, or savings without opening the app. The connection is read-only — the assistant reads your transactions but changes nothing in your account — and you decide when to set it up and when to end it.
Lesen →Juli 2026
Inflows and outflows involving crypto exchanges and brokerage accounts now go to review without being automatically hidden from reports.
Martia recognizes platforms such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and brokers from the counterparty name, groups safely similar operations, and asks how they should affect your report.
Lesen →Bank connectionsMartia now supports Enable Banking connections, CSV imports, and manual transactions.
If you do not have an active Enable Banking connection, you will see the usual add-bank option. Your Martia account, chats, subscription, and settings remain unchanged.
Lesen →CategorizationMartia now auto-applies only safe AI suggestions and asks about uncertain transactions in the app.
Every uncertain transaction now has a clear resolution path. You can see why Martia is asking, how the report may change, and correct one transaction without creating a future rule.
Lesen →SynchronizationSynchronization now shows its real stage, how long it has been running, and how many duplicates Martia merged after a bank reconnection.
A healthy synchronization no longer asks you to contact support, and a finished one says plainly what Martia did with your transactions: how many it recognized, how many duplicates it merged, and how many were genuinely new.
Lesen →SynchronizationThe app now shows whether Martia is fetching transactions, updating categories, or needs your attention.
Bank synchronization no longer happens silently. A compact status surface shows the current stage on mobile and web, then refreshes your financial data automatically when the work finishes.
Lesen →Bank connectionsReconnecting a bank recognizes the same transactions instead of adding copies.
You can safely renew bank access: Martia preserves older history and your edits while reconciling overlapping transactions into one clear record.
Lesen →SpendingThe spending heatmap and trend are now visible side by side on wide screens.
The desktop spending view now makes it easier to see when spending increased and how it shaped the whole month.
Lesen →PrivacyWhen accepting the Terms, you choose whether to enable optional product analytics.
The Terms and analytics are two separate choices. You can accept only the Terms or select both with one click — and turn analytics off later in Settings.
Lesen →Your dataDelete your account and data without contacting support — from Settings in the app or at martia.ai/delete-account.
Leaving should be as simple as joining. You can delete your account and all related data yourself: in the app via Settings → Delete account and data, or in a browser at martia.ai/delete-account. No emails to support, no waiting for approval.
Lesen →TransparencyYou know you're talking to an AI — a clear notice on your first chat, plus before your first voice recording and first image attachment.
Martia is an AI, not an advisor at a branch — and we say so plainly. The first time you use chat, we show a notice that you're talking to an AI system whose answers can contain mistakes and aren't professional financial advice. Separate one-time notices appear before your first voice recording and your first image attachment.
Lesen →PrivacyProduct analytics is now fully opt-in — we ask during onboarding, and send nothing without your consent.
Before we measure anything, we ask. Product analytics — which helps us improve the app — only starts once you tap "I agree". Choose "Only essentials" and we send nothing. And you can withdraw consent anytime in Settings.
Lesen →ReviewRelationship-review decisions now advance immediately and resume safely after a restart.
Martia stores pending choices in a private outbox, retries them without duplicate effects, and builds the summary only from server-confirmed results.
Lesen →ReviewFinancial relationship review now shows full context, report impact, and safe ways to apply each decision.
Martia combines a short priority queue with the complete relationship list, transaction evidence, and a clear preview of income and expense changes.
Lesen →ReviewYou can defer a financial-relationship question for seven days without changing transaction classifications.
Ask Later hides a relationship across the review queue while still allowing an earlier decision, and resurfaces it after expiry or a material impact increase.
Lesen →ReviewA confirmed decision can fix selected transactions or matching history and safely remember future matches.
Martia records each decision's actual effect, protects manual choices from automatic classification, and learns only from a complete confirmed relationship identity.
Lesen →ReviewMartia now prepares a short list of financial relationships most likely to change the monthly report.
The new review queue groups similar transactions, shows their possible home-currency impact, and supports safe match inspection before a decision.
Lesen →ClassificationBank sync and CSV import now store one coherent decision about each transaction's budget impact.
Martia keeps the new classification consistent with compatibility fields used by existing reports, including during gradual rollout and rollback.
Lesen →ClassificationMartia now classifies loan payments, public levies, and ambiguous accounting platforms more carefully.
New financial relationship signals help separate loan payments, public levies, and accounting-platform transfers without hiding uncertain transactions.
Lesen →TransfersOwn-account transfers now store a clear reason for being excluded from budget totals.
When Martia has hard proof that money moved between your accounts, it records that as an internal transfer with budget impact marked as excluded.
Lesen →ClassificationMartia now separates income, expenses, currency exchanges, and transfers more precisely.
The new classification foundation stores what kind of money movement each transaction is and whether it should affect reports.
Lesen →WealthProperty in your net worth now has a value history and a market estimate from official price indices (NBP for Polish cities, Eurostat for countries). Your own value always wins.
You usually enter a property once and it keeps the same figure for years. Now every value change is saved as a point in the history, and if you add the city, Martia shows a market estimate based on official price indices. It is always a clearly labelled estimate with its source and quarter — your own valuation stays in charge.
Lesen →WealthThe net worth screen now lets you add investment accounts — IKE, IKZE, PPK or a brokerage — with their current value and yearly contribution-limit tracking.
Wealth isn't just bank accounts and property. You can now add your investment and retirement accounts as their own section on the net worth screen — each with its current value, account type, and how much of the yearly contribution limit you've used.
Lesen →WealthThe net worth screen now shows your financial runway — how many months of current spending your balances cover — and investments get their own asset category.
One number says more than a balance: your financial runway is how many months you could keep your current lifestyle if income suddenly stopped. Martia computes it automatically from your account balances and average monthly spending.
Lesen →Juni 2026
The Transactions screen is easier to use: dates in rows, calendar filters, and a consistent detail side panel.
Browsing transaction history takes less guesswork: date ranges use a calendar picker, every transaction shows its date, and details open predictably from the right.
Lesen →SpendingThe Spending screen now has three tabs: Overview, Spending, and Income.
Income and spending no longer compete for space on one screen. The new layout separates the cockpit, spending analysis, and incoming money while keeping Sankey as the main money-flow view.
Lesen →TransactionsTransactions now show recognizable icons: merchant logos when available, category icons otherwise.
The transaction list is easier to scan: Martia shows a merchant logo or a colored category icon beside each operation.
Lesen →ChatMartia remembers more — longer conversation history and durable memory of facts about you.
No more explaining the same thing to Martia for the third time. The assistant now sees much more of the conversation and saves the durable facts you share.
Lesen →ChatTips and a “Send feedback” bar above the chat box — instead of auto-generated prompts.
Instead of generated prompts, above the message box you'll now see a short tip and a “Send feedback” bar — you can send us your thoughts in seconds, straight from the app.
Lesen →ChatCharts in chat — Martia draws trends and comparisons straight from your transactions.
When a chart says more than numbers, Martia draws one right in its reply: a line chart for trends over time and a bar chart for comparing categories — based on your real transactions.
Lesen →SpendingTapping a transaction in spending now shows every detail — description, category, confidence, counterparty and notes — not just the amount and date.
The transaction detail pane in spending now shows the full transaction card, exactly like the transactions list.
Lesen →ChatMartia now understands money movements between accounts better: savings transfers, Smart Saver, and currency exchanges are handled separately from regular spending search.
Questions about savings and FX now use tools that can see transfers intentionally excluded from spending analysis.
Lesen →Mai 2026
Martia no longer fabricates company addresses or labels two irregular payments as “monthly” — answers stay grounded in what's actually in your transactions.
Martia's chat answers stay grounded in your real transactions — no fabricated company facts, no fake “monthly costs”.
Lesen →AI AssistantMartia now sees your income with concrete dates and per-transaction amounts — she'll answer “the invoice landed on March 12, 6,800 PLN” instead of “I only see monthly totals”.
Martia's AI assistant now answers income questions with concrete dates and amounts from your bank transactions.
Lesen →ChartsA new trend chart on the Spending page shows how your spending accumulates from day one of the financial cycle — with the previous cycle drawn alongside as a dashed reference line.
A cumulative spending trend chart compares your current financial cycle to the previous one, day by day — with a per-category breakdown.
Lesen →InterfaceThe new onboarding shows your first spending insights before you enter the app — from bank connection to your first Martia chat.
Martia onboarding guides you through bank connection, transaction import, and your first spending preview before you enter the app.
Lesen →ChatConversations now include a timeline of your messages, making it faster to jump back to earlier questions.
Longer Martia conversations are easier to scan: the timeline shows your questions and scrolls the chat straight to the selected message.
Lesen →AI AssistantChat now hides AI reasoning blocks by default, while still letting you expand them when context matters.
Martia hides AI reasoning blocks in chat by default, with an expandable view when you want extra context.
Lesen →ChatThe chat now has a microphone — dictate a question and Martia transcribes it before you send.
Voice questions make Martia faster when it is easier to say “how much did I spend on food?” than type it by hand.
Lesen →SpendingNew Kids category, cleaner spending view (top 5 + the rest), smarter rules.
Spending on kids used to be scattered across several categories (paediatrician under Health, nanny under Transfers, Smyk under Other) and you couldn't see the total. I added a dedicated Kids category, cleaned up the spending view, and back-applied improved rules to your old transactions — no action needed on your part.
Lesen →SettingsSet which day your monthly cycle starts — e.g. payday. Your balance no longer looks negative for most of the month.
If you get paid on the 27th or at the end of the month, the calendar “1st to last” split shows your balance in the red for most of the month — even when your financial cycle is fine. Now you can pick your own cycle start day, and Martia recalculates all monthly views and the chat to match your rhythm.
Lesen →April 2026
Transfers between your own accounts across different banks are now matched by name — they no longer inflate spending.
Martia now correctly excludes transfers between your own accounts from spending and income summaries — even when the destination account is in a different bank you haven't connected yet.
Lesen →Net worthAfter adding a mortgage, Martia asks about the property it covers — net worth stops showing just the debt.
Right after saving a mortgage, Martia asks about the property it covers. The Liabilities section also shows a gentle reminder if a mortgage isn't yet linked to a property asset.
Lesen →ChartsEUR and USD balances now use current exchange rates in net worth — foreign-currency accounts no longer distort your wealth view.
Martia now calculates net worth with current exchange rates, so EUR and USD accounts show a more accurate PLN wealth picture.
Lesen →CategorizationFreshly synced transactions get categorized faster, and search finally knows the difference between a bank filter and a word in the description.
After sync, Martia categorizes new transactions in the background, filters bank-specific searches more precisely, and lets you drill into income from charts.
Lesen →AI AssistantMartia AI now shows live request status — you can see whether it's searching transactions, preparing a check-in, or still analyzing your data.
Martia AI now shows request status in real time and keeps chat sessions stable across domains, making the assistant clearer and more reliable.
Lesen →CommunityThe dashboard now includes a “Community” button with a direct link to the Martia Discord.
A new button in the top bar takes signed-in users straight to Discord for faster feedback and community conversations.
Lesen →TransactionsYou can now fix a transaction description by hand — when AI gets a purchase wrong, the list shows your wording instead.
Manual transaction description edits let you replace a wrong AI label while keeping the original bank text in the detail view.
Lesen →TransactionsThe transactions view now shows when bank data lands in Martia — no more guessing whether a payment is missing or just not synced yet.
The transactions page now includes a clear note about automatic bank sync timing and bank-side delays.
Lesen →ChartsClick an income entry on the cash flow chart — the full transaction detail panel opens, no page-hopping.
Cash flow income entries are now clickable — check the sender, description, and category with one click, without leaving the spending view.
Lesen →InterfaceShorter setup wizard — three steps instead of four, no pressure to import CSV upfront.
Martia onboarding in three steps: connect your bank, review accounts, confirm. CSV import moved into the app — available when you actually need it.
Lesen →InterfaceThe setup wizard asks for your country and offers a 15-minute call with the founder — access to Martia and to the person building it.
A new step in Martia onboarding: pick your country (Poland or other — waitlist) and optionally book a 15-minute call with the founder.
