Both sides of the move, not just the amount
When Martia can see both of your accounts, the transfer appears twice: once as the money leaving, once as the money landing. Each side names its account, so the route the money took is visible at a glance.
The headline is the total for the cycle. Each move counts once there — on the account it left — so seeing both sides does not double the number.
Accounts we cannot see, kept separate
If the other account is at a bank not connected to Martia, the far side simply does not exist in the data. Those legs get their own section, “Your accounts at other banks”, so they do not look like a transfer with something missing.
The tab only appears when you actually have such transfers — if you have never moved money between your own accounts, nothing new shows up.
Something wrong? Correct it
Tapping a row opens the transaction details and the card asking what the transaction is. If Martia called something an own transfer when it was not, you correct it in the same place as any other decision — and the report recalculates immediately.
