How to set it up
Go to Settings → Financial month. Pick a day from 1 to 31 — e.g. 27 if that's your payday. The default stays 1, so anyone who doesn't change it sees no difference.
If you pick 29, 30, or 31, in shorter months (e.g. February) we automatically use the last day. You don't have to worry about it.
What changes in the app
Spending, Analysis, and chat with Martia all use your cycle instead of the calendar month. The header now shows a date range ("27 Apr – 26 May 2026") next to the month name, with a small "i" icon reminding you the financial month is custom.
When you ask Martia “how much did I spend this month?”, she answers based on your cycle. When you ask “how much did I spend in March?” — she answers based on the calendar March. She knows the difference.
Häufige Fragen
Current and future monthly views (Spending, Analysis, chat) automatically use your cycle. Historical year-over-year reports stay on calendar months — for stats over 6+ months the difference is negligible.
Pick 31. Martia automatically uses the last day of each month (28/29/30/31 depending on the month). In most months it lines up exactly; for months that end on a weekend it may be off by a day, but for budgeting that's irrelevant.
