New Kids category, cleaner spending view (top 5 + the rest), smarter rules.

Spending on kids used to be scattered across several categories (paediatrician under Health, nanny under Transfers, Smyk under Other) and you couldn't see the total. I added a dedicated Kids category, cleaned up the spending view, and back-applied improved rules to your old transactions — no action needed on your part.

What the new "Kids" category catches

The rules pick up typical family expenses: nappies, nannies and babysitters, daycare, kindergarten, paediatrician, kids' stores (Smyk, Coccodrillo), toys, baby formula (Bebiko, Nestle Baby).

If your history has, say, recurring BLIKs to someone tagged "nanny" or purchases at Smyk, you'll see them in the new category automatically. Manual categorisations (anything you set by hand) stay untouched — your decision always wins.

Top 5 instead of 20 rows in a single list

Your five largest categories (usually ~70% of total spending) now show as big cards with an icon and a progress bar — you can see at a glance where the money goes. The rest collapses into a single "Other (N)" row that expands on tap.

The vs-previous-month percentage chip only appears when it actually means something — I suppress noise like "↑9000%" caused by a single prior-month transaction. Silence is information too.

Categorisation rules — back-cleanup

I also tightened how I learn from your manual corrections. Previously, if you re-categorised a transaction, I could derive a rule that was too broad (e.g. matching your own surname, which Polish banks prepend to every card transaction). I no longer create such rules — and I one-time cleaned up the ones that already existed.

In practice: if your old transactions looked weird (e.g. every Żabka purchase tagged as "Entertainment"), they should now be back where they belong.

No. The back-cleanup skips anything with source "manual" or marked as reviewed. Your manual decisions are sovereign and stay untouched.

You can re-categorise it manually — and that's exactly where the fix above kicks in. Your correction will no longer spawn an over-broad rule. Next sync I'll just re-check those transactions.

Shows everything, just collapsed by default — so the screen is scannable. One click and you see the full long-tail list with amounts. Nothing is hidden.
